Pooty's Surgery Fund

My cat, Pooty, has been attacked by my dog, and is now in need of surgery to remove her left eye. Obviously, this is not a good time for our family. It is a very expensive procedure. Any generosity would be so appreciated!

Hi Carrie, I hope you are wise enough to start looking for a new home for your dog. For a dog to do this, can be dangerous. He/she can do this again only next time it could be fatal to your cat. Please don't take chances.
Also, can you tell us more about your dog? How long have you had the dog and is he/she known to attack.
Glad your cat will be OK but sad that had to have eye removed.

It is not a good time for this CAT! How could this happen? Find a good home for this cat before the dog kills him! This dog did some SERIOUS damage, & I HOPE you have kept them apart too! There MUST have been signs as there usually are!

Poor kitty!

As a fellow Pussy lover, you have my empathy.

Here's to hoping Pooty has no more dog incidents and lotso TLC in the future.

Get well soon, Pooty!

Hi, all.
Pooty's Mommy, Carrie Cassady, tried to respond to your kind comments today, but for some reason, the comment seems to have gotten lost.
She did post an important development on her Facebook page today which will hopefully answer your concerns:

"Just got a call from the PA. Dane rescue. They found Liv a home .... This is very bittersweet. You are never ready for this news, it's like having to give your child away but for its best interest. I hate having to be in this situation..... Maybe life will NOW give me some peace."

Thanks, everyone!
